In a world where concern for the environment and our health is becoming increasingly urgent, the "Green-Clean" project, co-financed with European funds through the Erasmus+ program, shines as a beacon of hope, offering a path toward a cleaner and healthier future for us and future generations.

At the heart of this project lies a simple yet powerful vision: to transform the way we clean our homes and our environment by adopting eco-friendly and biodegradable cleaning products. With each step we take, we move closer to a cleaner environment and a more sustainable lifestyle.

Our Mission

Classic detergents and cleaning products used by most people are made from resilient ingredients that cannot be broken down and eventually end up in the groundwater, and from there, back to the population. In this way, we not only severely harm the earth but also all the plants, vegetables, and fruits we eat, as well as the food for birds and animals.

In this context, the concept of green cleaning emerged, a concept that has started to be adopted by organizations in the professional cleaning sector in European countries.

The partners aim to raise public awareness about the importance of adopting an ecologically-minded approach to cleaning and hygiene through the implementation of this project. By using more environmentally-friendly methods and products, the goal is to reduce the negative impact on the environment and promote human health. The project's activities are designed to highlight the importance of using eco-labeled, biodegradable products, as well as practices that conserve energy and water. Green cleaning promotes waste reduction by utilizing reusable or refillable products. The ultimate goal of green cleaning is to ensure a healthier and more sustainable world for us and future generations.

The Green-Clean project aims to transform how communities in Romania and Cyprus perceive and interact with the environment by promoting and adopting eco-friendly and sustainable practices. Our vision is to create a collective awareness of the importance of environmental protection and to equip individuals with the necessary skills to implement positive changes in their daily lives.

We aim for the impact of the Green-Clean project to be significant in raising awareness and understanding of the importance of using eco-friendly and biodegradable cleaning materials. Additionally, we strive to enhance participants' skills in ecological practices and environmental protection.

Mapping of Eco-Friendly Cleaning Products

The activity of mapping eco-friendly cleaning products will provide a crucial database on the availability and effectiveness of these products. The collected information is essential for developing the best practices guide and for educating the public and professionals in the field.

The "Choose Eco - for a Cleaner Environment" Brochure

One of the most important outcomes of the project is the development and distribution of the "Choose Eco - for a Cleaner Environment" brochure. This brochure, designed based on the coordinator's expertise in the professional cleaning and ecology fields, aims to become an essential tool for informing the public about the benefits of eco-friendly cleaning products. Our goal is for this brochure to reach as wide and diverse an audience as possible.

Clean-Green Workshop

As part of the project implementation, the partners have decided to organize a workshop in each of the partner countries. The workshops will share the same theme in both countries and aim to meet the project's objectives.

The Clean-Green workshop will be structured and organized in such a way that activities are interactive, encouraging participants to actively engage.

One primary outcome of the workshop will be the development of a course guide, which will serve as the foundation for the workshop and can be used in future workshops focusing on eco-friendly cleaning practices and the importance of environmental protection.

Another important outcome of this activity is that during the workshops, 10 project proposals on the theme of Green Cleaning will be developed by the participants. These proposals will then be presented and promoted within the local community.

Additionally, during the workshops, trainers and participants will collaborate to create and develop 20 pieces of content for the project’s online platform.

The EcoClean Awareness Campaign

The EcoClean awareness campaign aims to educate the general public about the implications of using traditional cleaning products on the environment and human health. The campaign involves creating and distributing informative materials, key messages, and articles on social media networks. We aim for the impact of the EcoClean campaign to be significant, increasing awareness among the targeted communities.

Impact and Long-Term Development

The Green-Clean project will have an impact on the involved organizations, enhancing the teams' skills and strengthening international collaborations. The project's outcomes will continue to be utilized and promoted through the website, brochures, and workshops, contributing to a lasting change in ecological behaviors and environmental protection.
